Subcommittees

Educational Technology Subcommittee

The CCFIT Educational Technology Working Group (ETWG) focuses on how information technologies can enhance teaching and learning at UC Davis and directly, and through CCFIT, promotes information-sharing and effective practices among the faculty, staff, students, support units, and administration.

Research Computing Subcommittee

The Research Computing Subcommittee advises the Vice Provost-IET on effective strategies for identifying appropriate priorities in IT ("cyberinfrastructure") support for the research community at UC Davis, through collaboration, sharing of effective practices or services, and collocation facilities.

Telecommunications Advisory Board

The Telecommunications Advisory Committee is being established to help guide and prioritize both short- and long-term telecommunications upgrade/replacement efforts and to provide the Vice Provost for IET with recommendations regarding deployment priorities, as well as network service options and technology enhancements that effectively meet the telecommunications needs of faculty, staff, students, support units, and administration.

SmartSite Oversight Committee (archive)

The SmartSite Oversight Committee is established to help guide and prioritize the continued development of SmartSite. The work of the committee will be particularly critical as SmartSite usage continues to grow, new tools and functionality become available, new needs are identified, and SmartSite is embraced over time as a common solution to our learning and collaboration needs.
